Surrounded by farmland where sheep and cattle graze in water meadows, our three converted barns are the original buildings of the dairy farm on the Gunthorpe Estate.

Old flints under pantiled roofs fitted with new draught-free doors and double glazed windows. Each barn has a high pitched roof with great scrubbed beams and a wood burning stove or open log fire. Beds are big, new and fitted out with crisp, white sheets and comfy pillows. Our power showers are big enough for two. Towels are large fluffy and numerous. Settees are squashy and some double as sofa-beds. Kitchen and dining facilities are equipped to a high standard.
The picturesque brick and flint conservation village of Gunthorpe lies five miles from the Georgian country town of Holt and six miles from the coast at Cley or Blakeney.

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here – a very relaxing break. We appreciated the high standard of accommodation and hope to return, our only problem being which cottage to choose!
